These terms govern the optional Friends Sports Messaging text program operated by Terry R. Preece Consulting LLC for Golf With Friends and Pickleball With Friends.

SMS Terms

By affirmatively opting in, you agree to receive recurring non-marketing text messages from Friends Sports Messaging about private golf and pickleball groups you join. Consent is optional and is not a condition of using either app. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Program description

Friends Sports Messaging provides operational notifications for private recreational sports groups. Pickleball messages may include game invitations, RSVP reminders, lineup updates, and schedule changes. Golf messages may include round invitations, RSVP updates, tee-time changes, and reminders. Messages are not used for third-party marketing.

How to opt in

Members opt in inside the applicable app by reviewing the messaging disclosure and affirmatively selecting “Yes, send me texts.” The control is optional, is not preselected, and is separate from use of the app. A group organizer cannot provide consent on another member’s behalf.

Message frequency and charges

Message frequency varies based on the groups joined and their activity. Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s terms and charges apply.

Opt out and help

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. After opting out, you may receive one confirmation message. Reply HELP for help or email terry@terryrpreececonsulting.com. Declining or unsubscribing does not prevent use of Golf With Friends or Pickleball With Friends.

Delivery

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on carrier networks and other systems outside our control.

Eligibility and acceptable use

You must provide a mobile number you control and keep your contact information current. Do not use the apps or messaging program to harass others, send unlawful content, interfere with service operation, or attempt unauthorized access.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is collected and used. Mobile information and messaging opt-in data and consent are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Changes and termination

We may update or discontinue the messaging program and may revise these terms. The effective date above identifies the current version. You may end participation at any time by replying STOP.
